What Is Microblading?

Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow treatment, which is tailored differently for each client, depending on the client’s current eyebrow size, shape, and colour.

The treatment uses a tool similar to a pen with a nib that is a sloped blade containing 10-12 tiny needles on the end.

The needles don’t penetrate the skin, lightly scratch the surface with featherweight strokes, and apply a medical grade pigment on the epidermis layer of the skin, creating very fine, realistic, and natural hair strokes.

Is Microblading the same as getting your brows tattooed?

Microblading is not the same as tattooing. The procedure only affects the upper layers of the skin, and so only lasts around 12-18 months.

If you didn’t get a top-up after this time, the effect would fade away and you’d never know you had Microblading.
